Stellantis is making a big splash with the Jeep Wagoneer S First Edition in a bold move to electrify the SUV market.
They’ve wrapped their North American headquarters in Michigan with a giant image of the car, ensuring that the 140,000 daily commuters can’t miss it.
This all-electric SUV boasts impressive features, including a signature illuminated grille, a panoramic sunroof for open-air adventures, and a massive 45-inch infotainment screen to keep passengers entertained.
The Launch Edition will be available first in the U.S. and Canada, with a global rollout planned for later.
While the $71,995 price tag positions it against rivals like the Tesla Model Y Performance (which starts at $20,000 less), Jeep is betting that the Wagoneer S’ unique combination of power, luxury, and legendary Jeep off-road capability will win over eco-conscious adventurers.
Early reservations for the Launch Edition can be secured on the Jeep website for a refundable $100 deposit. Packing a punch with a dual-motor electric drivetrain, the Jeep Wagoneer S rockets from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds. That’s thanks to a hefty 600 horsepower and 617 pound-feet of torque.
This electric powerhouse boasts an impressive range of over 300 miles on a single charge, and its 100.5 kWh battery can be replenished from 20% to 80% in just 23 minutes using a DC fast charger.
