Ushering in a new era for the Prancing Horse, Ferrari recently inaugurated its e-building with Italian President Sergio Mattarella in attendance.

The e-building will not only be the birthplace of Ferrari’s first electric car, which is expected to arrive next year, but it will also pave the way for future electric models.

With a reported price tag of around half a million euros, Ferrari’s debut EV promises to be an exclusive and technologically advanced offering.

Ushering in a new era for Ferrari, the brand’s recently inaugurated e-building stands as a testament to its commitment to high-performance electric vehicles while prioritizing environmental responsibility.

This state-of-the-art facility goes beyond just assembling the electric motors, batteries, and axles that will power Ferrari’s upcoming EVs. The building itself is a model of sustainability, utilizing a vast rooftop solar array to generate clean energy, potentially supplemented by additional renewable sources.

Waste reduction is a key focus, with rainwater harvesting and a remarkable 60% energy recapture system during vehicle testing.

The design incorporates a strategically designed glass facade for maximum efficiency, while new roadways and bicycle paths promote eco-friendly commutes, further integrating the e-building seamlessly into its surroundings. Fully operational, this innovative facility marks a significant turning point for Ferrari as they embrace a sustainable future.
