This Argentinian masterpiece started life as a humble 1983 BMW R 80 ST. However, the talented crew at STG Tracker envisioned something far more extraordinary.
Their expert hands transformed the machine into a head-turning street tracker, leaving only the core frame and engine untouched.
With a keen eye for detail, Marcelo Obarrio and Germán Karp began by meticulously rebuilding the R 80’s boxer-twin engine, ensuring its continued reliability for years to come.
They then optimized performance by breathing new life into the Bing carburetors and ditching the stock airbox in favor of freer-flowing K&N pod filters.
To complete the aural and visual transformation, a custom stainless-steel exhaust system with a two-into-one header and a Spark silencer was crafted. Finally, a coat of matte black paint and stylish retro valve covers finished off the revamped powertrain.
Gone is the classic silhouette of the BMW R 80 ST. STG Motor Company has taken this beloved bike and injected it with a radical new personality.
The most noticeable transformation is the svelte fuel tank, completely reshaping the machine’s profile. Up front, a modern and minimalist aesthetic takes hold with a carbon fiber fender and a sleek nose fairing.
Tucked within this streamlined design are a Koso LED headlight and a digital Motogadget dash. The handlebars echo this low-profile theme, featuring underslung mirrors, bar-end turn signals, and top-shelf Brembo controls.
But the makeover goes far deeper than just looks. STG has outfitted the bike with high-performance upgrades, swapping the stock suspension for a premium fork and a YSS monoshock.
Braking receives a similar boost with a Brembo caliper and rotor upgrade for superior stopping power. Custom wheels with Akront rims and Pirelli tires complete the package, all wrapped in a head-turning blue paint scheme.
