For the 2025 model year, Volkswagen has revealed a refreshed Jetta featuring subtle exterior tweaks, upgraded interior elements and technology, and a slightly increased starting price compared to the 2024 model.
However, it’s important to note that the 2025 Jetta loses the manual transmission option, making the automatic transmission the only choice for the base model, which still offers a more competitive price compared to the automatic-equipped 2024 Jetta.
Sticking to a proven formula but receiving a visual upgrade, the 2025 Volkswagen Jetta and Jetta GLI arrive with fresh design cues inside and out.
The Jetta showcases a restyled trunk lid with a standard LED light bar, offering a more modern look.
Drivers can also choose from new 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels, and two exciting paint colors, Monterey Blue Pearl and Monument Gray, have been added to the palette.
Stepping inside, both Jetta trims greet you with a redesigned dashboard featuring a prominent 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The automatic climate control now utilizes touch controls for a sleeker aesthetic.
New upholstery options raise the interior across the trims, and the performance-focused GLI boasts unique two-tone Vienna leather seats with red stitching for a touch of sporty flair.
While the base engine carries over, the 2025 Jetta gets a new eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Jetta GLI retains its muscular 2.0-liter engine with the option of a sporty six-speed manual or a quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Look out for these refreshed Jetta sedans to arrive at dealerships later in 2024.
