Debuting in 2022 and hitting production lines in 2023, the Maserati GranTurismo and its open-air counterpart, the GranCabrio, offer a fresh take on the classic grand tourer.
These stunning vehicles break tradition by being available in both gasoline and electric (Folgore) variants.
The Folgore boasts a trifecta of electric motors generating a staggering 751 horsepower and 996 lb-ft of torque. This translates to a 0-60 mph time of a mere 2.7 seconds and a top speed exceeding 200 mph.
While the standard GranTurismo boasts an EPA-estimated range of 242 miles, the GranCabrio falls slightly behind at 233 miles.
This particular GranCabrio Folgore is a one-of-a-kind creation by Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program, crafted to honor the legendary Tignanello vineyard.
Nicknamed the “Folgore Tignanello,” this bespoke masterpiece will be auctioned on July 14th at the Festival Napa Valley’s Arts for All Gala.
Maserati and the renowned winemaker Marchesi Antinori have joined forces to create a one-of-a-kind GranCabrio Folgore, showcasing the pinnacle of Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program.
This bespoke vehicle embodies the essence of Italian luxury, offering a personalized driving experience that reflects the exclusivity of a fine wine.
The collaboration not only celebrates Italian excellence but also promises a significant charitable contribution through the auction of this unique convertible. With details yet to be revealed, anticipation builds for the value this Maserati masterpiece will hold for the discerning collector.
