The Fisker Ocean, once poised to become a capable off-roader with the Force E package boasting upgraded suspension, aggressive tires, underbody protection, and a significant power boost has fallen on hard times.

The package, which would have transformed the Ocean into a formidable off-road SUV, remains unrealized due to Fisker’s bankruptcy filing last month. Compounding the Ocean’s woes are multiple recalls and fire-sale offers to employees.

Given these challenges, a California dealership’s recent decision to reject a $23,500 bid for a 2023 Ocean One Launch Edition is baffling. With the vehicle’s value plummeting, holding out for a higher offer seems increasingly unlikely.

With a mere 5,000 miles on the odometer, this Fisker Ocean is already making a strong impression. Its Night Drive exterior, accented by matte black lower cladding, is complemented by a range of premium features.

These include a comprehensive camera system, LED lighting, power-deploying door handles, and solar charging panels enhancing the panoramic sunroof. The 22-inch AirGlider wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S tires provide a stylish and capable stance.

Inside, heated front seats, premium upholstery, and a multi-zone climate system ensure comfort, while wireless charging, a heated steering wheel, and a large, rotating infotainment screen offer modern convenience.

A suite of advanced safety features, including collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and driver attention monitoring, adds peace of mind. Under the skin, a potent dual-motor setup delivers impressive performance, with 564 horsepower, 543 lb-ft of torque, and a claimed 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds. All this is backed by a 106-kWh battery promising a substantial 360-mile range.
