Sergio Almeida, a Porto-based art director with a keen eye for design, has transformed his passion into WKND Customs. The custom motorcycle workshop has garnered international acclaim, as evidenced by this stunning scrambler commissioned by a Parisian client.

Starting with a disparate collection of 1984 Suzuki GS1100G parts, Almeida meticulously reconstructed the bike into a head-turning masterpiece. His craftsmanship is evident in the shortened and looped subframe, repositioned fuel tank, and bespoke bodywork, culminating in a sleek, minimalist aesthetic.

Sergio’s GS1100 boasts a revamped cockpit featuring a Tommaselli handlebar adorned with Motogadget bar-end turn signals and Biltwell grips that complement the seat’s upholstery. Billet aluminum foot pegs enhance the bike’s ergonomics.

The suspension was upgraded with adjustable YSS shocks, while the original forks were meticulously rebuilt. Brakes underwent a thorough overhaul and Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires now grip the road.

The engine, revitalized by a specialist, benefits from oversized pistons, a new starter clutch, pod filters, a custom exhaust, and a reworked stock plumbing system culminating in a stainless-steel muffler. The bike’s aesthetic is defined by a gloss-black base accentuated with white stripes on the fuel tank and side panels.
