With over two decades dedicated to crafting custom motorcycles, Jens vom Brauck, the mastermind behind JvB-Moto in Cologne, Germany, stands as a titan. His reputation for impeccable builds is legendary. Born in 2022, this project is a nostalgic tribute to a 2012 adventure through the Pyrenees.
Joined by fellow rider Jochen Schmitz-Linkweiler (JSL Moto), this duo transformed a Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE into a custom masterpiece, drawing inspiration from their shared off-road odyssey. While Jens focused on design, JSL Moto handled the technical aspects.
The result is a stunning motorcycle that seamlessly blends the pair’s expertise and features an array of components from their respective catalogs. Jens vom Brauck’s custom Scrambler 1200 is a striking blend of form and function.
The motorcycle’s core identity has been reshaped with a bespoke saddle, custom side covers, and a minimalist fender. The lighting setup is modern and stylish, featuring an LED headlamp encased in a custom nacelle and compact aftermarket turn signals.
The cockpit is rider-centric, with LSL handlebars, adjustable levers, and a relocated dash. A protective skid plate safeguards the engine, while Arrow silencers and a custom heat shield enhance the exhaust note.
The chassis is significantly upgraded with lighter aluminum wheels, Öhlins rear suspension, and revised front forks. Brembo brakes ensure top-notch stopping power.
The bike’s visual appeal is heightened by a distinctive paint scheme and graphic design, earning it the moniker “The Rumbler 1200” a fitting tribute to its predecessor and a testament to its muscular character.
