Hyundai’s Tucson compact crossover has proven to be a sales success, now in its fourth generation and recently refreshed. Sporting a bolder exterior with new lighting, grille, and bumpers, the Tucson’s interior has also been modernized, featuring a minimalist steering wheel and a dominant curved display merging the infotainment and instrument cluster.
While the refreshed design enhances its appeal, the 2025 model comes with a price increase of $755. Powering the base Tucson is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, with optional all-wheel drive.
For electrified options, Hyundai offers the Tucson Hybrid with a combined output of 231 horsepower, and the Tucson Plug-in Hybrid delivering 268 horsepower and an electric-only range of 33 miles.
Hyundai recently revealed pricing for the 2025 Tucson in the United States, promising its arrival at dealerships this month. Oddly, the automaker’s official website still showcases the older model, hinting at an imminent replacement.
While the spotlight is on the standard 2025 Tucson, a more intriguing question arises: Could a performance-oriented Hyundai Tucson N be on the horizon? Despite the brand’s performance-focused N division and expressed interest in expansion, a Tucson N remains absent from the pipeline.
Nevertheless, a digital artist has envisioned this high-performance SUV, drawing inspiration from existing N models. The rendered Tucson N is available in various exterior and interior color combinations, featuring an aggressive body kit, striking red accents, and larger wheels, offering a compelling look into a potential future for the Hyundai lineup.
