Although there’s no hybrid option, the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine remains unchanged. The 2025 GMC Terrain is poised to enter the fiercely competitive compact crossover SUV market with a refreshed design, enhanced features, and a focus on differentiation from its corporate sibling, the Chevrolet Equinox.
While the Terrain maintains its core strengths, it faces stiff competition from established rivals like the Subaru Forester, Nissan Rogue, Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV4.
