Ram revealed the new 2500 Lunar Edition, a unique take on the Power Wagon and Rebel HD models. Inspired by the moon, the Lunar Edition boasts a striking exterior with Ceramic Grey paint, black accents, and dark wheels. Both models feature exclusive features not found in the standard versions.
The Lunar Edition’s design is instantly recognizable with its two-tone black tow mirrors, glossy black side graphics, powder-coated bumpers and fender flares, and body-colored Ram logo. Ram claims these design elements reflect the color palette found on the moon.
To match the dark exterior, the Lunar Edition rides on black 17-inch wheels (Power Wagon) or 20-inch wheels (Rebel HD), wrapped in 33-inch off-road tires. The Power Wagon also receives a 2-inch lift kit, front/rear locking differentials, and a sway bar disconnect system for enhanced off-road capability.
Inside, the Lunar Edition features black leather upholstery with Surf Blue contrasting stitching and Twill Film accents. A die-cast metal badge with “Power Wagon” or “Rebel” lettering adorns the central armrest, and a wireless charging pad is included, a feature not available on the standard models.
The Ram 2500 Lunar Edition offers two powerful engine options: a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 gasoline engine and a 6.7-liter Cummins inline-six turbodiesel. While the HEMI delivers impressive power and torque, the Cummins diesel boasts superior towing capacity and payload.
Both trucks feature a factory-installed Warn winch and a link-coil rear suspension system with air suspension. The Lunar Edition’s unique styling and premium features make it a standout option in the heavy-duty pickup truck segment.
The HEMI-powered truck, known as the Power Wagon, offers a towing capacity of 10,610 pounds and a payload of 2,250 pounds. The Cummins diesel-powered truck, known as the Rebel HD, offers a towing capacity of 14,900 pounds and a payload of 1,960 pounds.
Both trucks come equipped with a 12,000-pound Warn winch and a link-coil rear suspension system with air suspension. The air suspension system automatically levels the truck when it reaches a maximum payload or when a trailer is attached.
The Lunar Edition is now available for order, with deliveries expected to begin in October. The Power Wagon starts at $75,205, while the Rebel HD kicks off at $85,490, with the $1,995 destination fee included.
