Nissan has revealed the 2025 Sentra, a minor update to the popular sedan. Despite rumors of the Versa and Altima being discontinued, the Sentra has seen a significant increase in sales, prompting Nissan to introduce the 2025 model year.
The 2025 Sentra maintains its three-trim lineup (S, SV, and SR) and starts at a slightly higher price than its predecessor. While the base S model is now $410 more expensive, it still offers features like smartphone connectivity, a 7-inch touchscreen, and the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite, which includes lane departure warning, high-beam assist, rear-cross traffic alert, automatic emergency braking front and rear, blind spot warning, and more.
The SV trim adds 16-inch alloy wheels, SiriusXM radio, and intelligent cruise control. For an additional cost, buyers can opt for the SV Premium Package, which includes 17-inch alloy wheels, a Bose audio system, a power-sliding moonroof, a power driver’s seat, and an intelligent around-view monitor.
For those seeking a more sporty driving experience, the SR trim offers enhancements such as a sportier exterior design, a stiffer suspension, and a more powerful engine. While specific details about the engine options haven’t been released yet, it’s expected to be similar to the outgoing model’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
The 2025 Nissan Sentra offers a combination of comfort, safety, and value, making it a compelling choice for sedan shoppers. With its updated features and competitive pricing, the Sentra continues to be a strong contender in its segment. The 2025 Nissan Sentra SR, the pinnacle of the Sentra lineup, offers a blend of style, comfort, and performance.
Its 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, and rear spoiler create a dynamic and modern exterior, while the interior features premium reddish-orange stitching and heated front seats for added luxury. The optional SR Premium Package further enhances the driving experience with a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel and other premium amenities.
Customers can personalize their Sentra SR with a two-tone paint finish in a variety of striking colors, including Monarch Orange Metallic, Atlantic Gray Metallic, Electric Blue Metallic, or Aspen White Tricoat. The SR is priced at $24,590 (excluding destination and handling charges), making it a slightly more expensive option compared to the previous model year. However, the additional features and enhancements justify the price increase.
Under the hood, the 2025 Sentra SR is equipped with a proven 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers a balance of power and efficiency. Producing 149 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque, the engine is paired with an Xtronic CVT for smooth and responsive performance.
