The 2024 Hyundai Elantra has received a minor update, with the most significant change being a reduction in price for the Hybrid Blue model. The internal combustion-only Elantra has gained a new trim level, the SEL Sport, which is available with electric assistance for 2025.
The SEL Convenience trim level, previously a package, now slots between the SEL Sport and the Limited. The entry-level SE trim remains unchanged, offering a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine and a starting price of $23,025.
The SEL Sport features a 4.2-inch color TFT instrument cluster display, a wireless phone charger, a black interior with black headlining, aluminum sport pedals, leather on the shift knob and steering wheel, plus black paint for the mirror housings, and a rear lip spoiler.
The hybrid version of the SEL Sport is available with a number of extras, including 10.25-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, BlueLink+ Connected Car Services, as well as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Additionally, the 2024 Elantra has received minor updates to its safety features and technology.
The Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert systems have been enhanced to provide improved protection for drivers and passengers. The Elantra also features a new wireless phone charger and a larger touchscreen infotainment system.
The entry-level 2025 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue offers a fuel-efficient 1.6-liter engine paired with a dual-clutch transmission. Its multi-link rear suspension and 16-inch alloy wheels contribute to its impressive 54 MPG combined fuel economy. Inside, it’s equipped with modern amenities like USB Type-C ports, dual-zone climate control, and LED headlights.
For those seeking a more performance-oriented driving experience, the Elantra N delivers a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Available with either a manual or dual-clutch transmission, the N offers a thrilling driving experience. The dual-clutch option provides a slight power boost and quicker shifts, making it a more engaging choice for enthusiasts.
The Elantra N’s aggressive styling, including a large rear wing, sporty body kit, and dual exhaust tips, further enhances its performance-focused character. The interior features sport seats with Alcantara inserts, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and red accents throughout.
Both the Elantra Hybrid Blue and Elantra N offer a range of advanced safety features, such as forward collision warning, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. These features help to make driving safer and more enjoyable.
