Underground Custom Cycles, a hidden gem in Limassol, Cyprus, has crafted a stunning custom motorcycle from a humble Honda CX400. Petros Louca, the mastermind behind this transformation, has showcased his exceptional skills in customization, breathing new life into the classic bike.

With meticulous attention to detail, Louca has transformed the CX400 into a sleek and powerful street tracker. The project began with a thorough overhaul of the donor bike, stripping away the stock subframe and replacing it with a custom-fabricated design.

The swingarm was also modified to accommodate a monoshock suspension setup, utilizing a repurposed Kawasaki shock absorber. Up front, the bike now boasts inverted forks from a Suzuki GSX-R, paired with Tokico calipers once used on a Hayabusa and aftermarket wave rotors.

The rear end has also received significant upgrades, featuring a Yamaha R1 braking system. The custom wheels, measuring 17 inches in diameter, are wrapped in sticky Pirelli rubber, providing excellent grip and handling. The V-twin engine, in a state of disrepair, underwent a complete rebuild to ensure its reliability and performance.

The finished product is a testament to Louca’s skill and passion for customization. The Underground Custom Cycles CX400 street tracker is a unique and eye-catching machine that blends classic charm with modern performance. The custom motorcycle, built by Underground Custom Cycles, is a testament to the art of transformation. Starting with a standard powerplant, the team enhanced its performance through a series of meticulous modifications.

The cylinder heads, connecting rods, and crankshaft were replaced with those from a CX500, while the cylinder walls were bored out to accommodate oversized pistons, resulting in a substantial increase in displacement to approximately 500cc. New valves, rings, and gaskets were also installed to complement these changes and ensure optimal engine operation.

To optimize airflow and enhance performance, Mikuni VM34 carburetors topped with DNA pod filters were fitted, and a short high-mounted exhaust system was added. The stock fuel tank was retained but repositioned to accommodate the custom tail section and the red Alcantara saddle, which together create a sleek and modern aesthetic.

The front features a tracker-style number board with twin LED headlights, providing both style and functionality. Protective fork guards and a range of aftermarket components adorn the cockpit, enhancing both the appearance and comfort of the rider.

A new handlebar, Motogadget grips, underslung bar-end mirrors, and premium master cylinders were installed to provide a more ergonomic and enjoyable riding experience. The swingarm-mounted license plate bracket, billet aluminum rearsets, and the iconic HRC-inspired color scheme complete the custom motorcycle’s striking appearance.

These modifications not only enhance the motorcycle’s performance but also give it a unique and distinctive character. The Underground Custom Cycles team has successfully transformed a standard motorcycle into a true masterpiece, showcasing their expertise in custom motorcycle building.
