Mandrill Garage, a renowned Chinese custom bike shop, has once again showcased its exceptional skills with a remarkable transformation of a BMW R nineT. Taking the Pure variant as a starting point, the team meticulously stripped away unnecessary components to create a versatile dual-sport motorcycle.
The subframe was reinforced to accommodate a robust luggage rack and a tailored solo saddle, while a compact tail unit with bright LED lighting completed the rear end. A swingarm-mounted trellis bracket held the license plate securely, and the engine was protected by a custom skid plate and sturdy crash bars.
The stock fuel tank remained, but the front end received a significant overhaul with a new fairing, yellow-tinted windshield, and a high-quality LED headlight from Baja Designs. Additional auxiliary lights enhanced visibility, and both a main fender and a lower mudguard provided protection from debris.
The R nineT, once a street-focused machine, has undergone a radical transformation. Its original suspension has been replaced with retro-style aftermarket forks from Gears Racing, offering an extra four inches of travel for improved off-road capability.
