Known for his impressive racing career, including wins in the Trans-Am series and the 24 Hours of Daytona, Gentilozzi has also amassed a stunning collection of unrestored classics.
Tucked away in a former grocery store, Gentilozzi’s collection is a treasure trove of automotive history. From iconic American muscle cars to rare sports cars, each vehicle is a time capsule, showcasing the beauty and engineering of a bygone era.

Paul Gentilozzi’s collection is a treasure trove of rare and iconic muscle cars. Among his prized possessions is the sole 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 painted in a vibrant orange hue. This unique vehicle, one of over 7,000 Z/28s produced that year, boasts a striking houndstooth interior that complements its bold exterior.
Beyond high-performance models, Gentilozzi also owns a spartan 1969 Chevy Nova. Purchased in all-original condition from an elderly woman, this Nova is powered by a straightforward inline-six engine and features a bench seat and no radio. Its simplicity is a testament to its rarity.
Another noteworthy addition to his collection is a black 1954 Corvette. While not equipped with a V8 engine, this Corvette’s inline-six has been modified for racing with Weber carburetors. Additionally, Gentilozzi owns a 1965 Olds Cutlass with a modified engine.
However, the crown jewel of his collection is arguably the 1968 Hurst-Olds parked alongside it. A museum piece for 25 years, this unrestored and highly original muscle car is considered the best example of its kind.
Not surprisingly, Gentilozzi also possesses the pinnacle of the Chevelle lineup: the 1970 SS 454 LS6 convertible. With its 90% original paint, top, and interior, this Chevelle LS6 is incredibly rare, with experts estimating that only 12 to 25 units were ordered with a retractable top. Vehicles in this condition are valued at over half a million dollars.
