Debuting at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, the Genesis Electrified G80 hit the US market for the 2023 model year. Mirroring its gasoline counterpart in size, the electric G80 initially offered a 118.5-inch wheelbase (3,010 millimeters).
However, the 2025 South Korean spec Electrified G80 boasts a lengthier 3,140-millimeter (123.6-inch) wheelbase, translating to more legroom for rear passengers. This update coincides with a battery upgrade. The new fourth generation lithium-ion pack from SK On boasts 94.5 kWh capacity, translating to a 475 kilometer maximum range according to the Korean certification system.
While a direct conversion to miles isn’t applicable due to differing testing methods, this range is impressive for a sizable sedan, especially considering its 2,355-kilogram (5,192-pound) curb weight.
The 2025 Genesis Electrified G80 is a luxury electric sedan that offers a refined interior, advanced technology, and a comfortable ride. Inside, passengers will enjoy a premium 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, a 27-inch OLED display, and a rear-seat Chauffeur Mode that enhances comfort and convenience.
The vehicle also features upgraded suspension components, rear wheel steering, and a customizable Electric Vehicle Active Sound Design system. With a starting price of 89,190,000 won in South Korea, the 2025 Electrified G80 offers a luxurious and technologically advanced driving experience.
