Ferrari’s first series-production electric vehicle, the F244, is currently under development. As a chassis mule, it has been spotted testing outside the Maranello factory, and like its predecessor, the Purosangue, it appears to share some body panels with the Maserati Levante. However, its exact dimensions remain uncertain, with speculation suggesting it could be closer in size to the upcoming Porsche Macan Electric.
The F244 mule is heavily camouflaged, but some details are visible. It features Levante side mirrors and A-pillar trim pieces, as well as bright-chrome faux exhaust pipes and black-painted wheels. High-voltage stickers are also visible on the vehicle.
Inside the F244 mule, the front seats have integrated headrests, and the steering column-mounted shift paddles resemble those found in the Purosangue. The dashboard area above the digital instrument cluster also bears a resemblance to that of the V12-powered SUV.
Production of the F244 is expected to begin in the latter part of 2025 for the 2026 model year. The vehicle will be manufactured at Ferrari’s e-building, which also produces internal combustion vehicles, hybrids, combustion engines, electric motors, electric axles, and high-voltage batteries for hybrids and electric vehicles.

Rumors suggest a starting price of around 500,000 euros, significantly higher than competitors like the Macan Electric and Taycan.
However, given Ferrari’s legendary status and the expected performance and luxury of the F244, this price tag seems justifiable. With other luxury brands like Lamborghini, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce also venturing into the electric SUV market, Ferrari’s F244 is poised to set a new benchmark for performance and opulence of electric vehicles.
