The Jeep Renegade, a popular subcompact SUV, has been the subject of much speculation regarding its future. Some suggest that a new, ICE-powered Renegade is unlikely to appear soon, especially given Jeep’s plans to introduce a brand-new subcompact crossover in 2027.
However, there’s a possibility that this new model could be an electric vehicle (BEV) and might use a different nameplate. While the odds of a new ICE Renegade seem low, it hasn’t deterred the rendering community from imagining what it could look like.
Recent digital illustrations have shown various interpretations of the potential 2027 Renegade, ranging from a Compass like design to more futuristic concepts. One such rendering, created by Dieggo Lima Design, offers a realistic vision of what the rumored Renegade might look like, showcasing a promising design that aligns with Jeep’s current aesthetic.
Envision a subcompact Jeep crossover that blends the classic Renegade spirit with a futuristic twist. This conceptual design takes cues from Jeep’s current lineup, with hints of Wagoneer, Grand Cherokee, and Compass peeking through the modernized headlights flanking the iconic seven-slot grille.
The boxy silhouette remains, but the flat nose, additional bumper DRLs, and a substantial air intake hint at a more aggressive stance. Interestingly, the design maintains the familiar wheel arches but introduces innovative features like flush door handles and hidden rear ones.
The side mirrors lean towards a sleeker look, contrasting with the rugged black A pillars and plastic cladding. A cool blue paint job completes the picture of this reimagined Jeep.
