The Honda Dominator, a popular platform for custom bike enthusiasts, has been transformed countless times by skilled builders. Among these remarkable creations is the Mustard, crafted by Gas & Retro in Slovenia. Ziga Petek, the workshop’s founder, has a reputation for creating exceptional motorcycles, and the Mustard is no exception.

This custom Dominator features a sleek and timeless design, achieved through a complete cosmetic overhaul. The bike’s original appearance was outdated, so Gas & Retro undertook a comprehensive transformation. They replaced the subframe with a custom-made looped design, added Kellermann turn signals and a circular LED taillight, and created a bespoke rear fender.

The new side covers and saddle were also handcrafted, resulting in a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing design. The saddle’s brown faux leather upholstery adds a touch of sophistication and complements the look of the motorcycle.

The Dominator’s transformation was well underway, with the rear-end modifications complete, but Ziga was far from finished. The bulky OEM fuel tank was an eyesore, so it was replaced with a sleeker option sourced from an old Caballero. After a thorough refurbishment inside and out, the tank was adapted to fit the Honda’s dual-sport frame.

A new, high-mounted front fender offered protection without being overly bulky. A skid plate was added to safeguard the single cylinder engine during off-road adventures. Up front, a Koso LED headlight and Kellermann blinkers completed the modern look, matching the rear blinkers.

Custom made mounting hardware secured everything in place, and the cockpit was kept clean and minimalist. A replacement handlebar with brown Biltwell grips, Motone switchgear, and a high quality brake master cylinder provided a more comfortable and functional riding experience. Although rear view mirrors were absent, they could be easily added to comply with road regulations.
