A year ago, Marcus Rashford’s near new Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge, tuned by Mansory, met a tragic end. Following a collision on a rainy night, the luxury car was a total loss and auctioned off by the insurance company.

Mat Armstrong, a shrewd buyer, seized the opportunity, securing the damaged vehicle for a fraction of its original price. Now, Mansory, the renowned tuning house, is seeking to reclaim its creation, adding a new twist to the already intriguing story.

The incident, which occurred shortly after Rashford had left Manchester United’s training ground, involved a collision with another vehicle. The impact was severe enough to send the Rolls-Royce into a nearby light pole, causing extensive damage. Despite the shock of the accident, Rashford ensured the safety of the other driver involved and cooperated with the police at the scene.

In the aftermath of the crash, the insurance company assessed the damage and declared the car a total loss. The vehicle was then auctioned off, and Armstrong emerged as the winning bidder. Paying a mere 185,000 pounds, he secured the battered Rolls-Royce, which had originally cost Rashford around 750,000 pounds. Armstrong believed he had made a lucrative investment, considering the car’s prestige and the value added by Mansory’s modifications.

Mat’s journey with his Rolls-Royce Wraith was anything but ordinary. From initial struggles with the car’s ignition to significant investments in repairs and modifications, Mat’s dedication to restoring the luxury vehicle was evident. His dedication to the project extended beyond the mechanical aspects, as he sought to personalize the car with original parts and custom modifications.

After completing the restoration, Mat found himself on an unexpected journey. Kourosh Mansory, the owner of the tuning house that worked on the car, was so impressed with Mat’s work that he invited him to Germany to discuss the project further. This invitation led to a road trip across Europe, filled with both excitement and challenges.

As Mat traveled, he encountered various obstacles, including a damaged fender, a failed air suspension system, and the uncertainty of casino winnings. Despite these setbacks, Mat remained determined to see his project through. His journey culminated in a meeting with Mansory, where he received both praise and criticism for his restoration work.

While Mat faced additional expenses to address the issues identified by Mansory, he ultimately achieved his goal of restoring the Rolls-Royce to its former glory. The journey, filled with challenges and triumphs, had created lasting memories and a deep appreciation for the car.
