The Ford Bronco Sasquatch is already a highly capable off-road vehicle, and Ford believes it’s so good that you could even go hunting for its mythical namesake, Bigfoot.
As part of a new sweepstakes, that’s exactly what Ford wants you to do. While it’s unlikely you’ll solve the mystery of Bigfoot, you could win a custom Bronco known as the Sasquatch Searcher, pictured here.
The Sasquatch Searcher began as a two-door Bronco with the Sasquatch package, but Ford has added some special features to help in your quest for Bigfoot.
These include a roof-mounted lightbar, additional off-road cameras, and a camouflage wrap with a tree motif.
And since no one has ever found concrete proof of Bigfoot’s existence, Ford has also equipped the vehicle with an awning, camping chairs, and a plush interior, perfect for unwinding when your search turns up empty.
Is Ford really encouraging people to hunt for Bigfoot? Not exactly, but the sweepstakes does encourage a sense of adventure. To enter, you’ll need to head over to Ford’s Bronco Instagram account for details.
The contest involves solving puzzles to uncover secret information, some of which will be hidden on social media, Reddit, and even “out in the wild.”
Ford also mentions that certain locations with a history of Bigfoot sightings will feature posters and signs with phone numbers to call, providing additional clues for participants.
If puzzle-solving isn’t your strong suit and you can’t afford the base Bronco Sasquatch (the Big Bend trim starts at $51,675), Ford has recently introduced a Sasquatch package for the Bronco Sport.
While not as rugged as the larger Bronco, the Sport version gets 29-inch tires and some added off-road enhancements to boost its capability. This version will be available starting at around $41,000, but it won’t hit the market until early 2025.
