The upcoming Skoda Elroq has been the subject of much speculation, with teasers and spy shots revealing the look of its design. Now, the Kolesa team has created realistic renderings based on these images, providing a clearer picture of what the final product might look like.

The Elroq features a distinctive front fascia with split headlights, a closed-off grille, and a prominent Skoda emblem. The lower headlight clusters are positioned above the side air vents, while the upper units serve as daytime running lights and blend seamlessly into the grille. The hood and bumper shape are accurately depicted in the renderings, looking for the aesthetic.

The Skoda Elroq, a compact crossover built on the MEB platform, is set to launch with a range of battery options and power outputs. Despite the challenges of creating accurate digital illustrations due to heavy camouflage on prototypes, Elroq’s design appears to be a logical extension of the Skoda Enyaq.

While the design is largely consistent with the Enyaq, there are subtle differences in the rear reflectors and trim details. The Elroq will be available with a variety of battery pack options, ranging from 52 kWh to 77 kWh. The base model, the Elroq 50, will feature a 52 kWh battery pack and a 168 hp electric motor.

The Elroq 60 will have a 59 kWh battery pack and a 201 hp motor. The Elroq 85 and Elroq 85x will both use a 77 kWh battery pack, but the Elroq 85x will be equipped with a dual-motor setup, producing a total of 296 hp. The Elroq 85, on the other hand, will have a single-motor configuration with 281 hp.

Skoda has not yet released official range figures for the Elroq, but it is expected to have a range of over 348 miles on the two top spec models. The Elroq will also support fast charging at up to 175 kW.

Whether the Elroq will be a successful addition to Skoda’s lineup remains to be seen. However, with its impressive range, variety of powertrain options, and stylish design, it has the potential to be a strong contender in the competitive electric crossover market.
