Juan Estrada, a Chevy Caprice enthusiast, recently acquired a pristine 1987 two door Caprice that had belonged to an elderly Ohio woman. The car, which the woman had only driven on weekends, was in remarkably good condition.

When Estrada picked up the car, he was surprised to find a trunk full of unexpected items, including two spare wheels. The woman’s daughter, who had inherited the car after her mother’s passing, had decided to sell it due to her advanced age.

The 1987 Caprice was a coveted vehicle, and Estrada was fortunate to have secured it. The woman had received numerous offers from other interested buyers, some of whom were willing to pay significantly more than Estrada’s bid.

However, she had already chosen him as the new owner. Estrada’s new acquisition was a rare find. The car was in excellent condition, both inside and out. The paint was still shiny, the chrome was gleaming, and the interior was spotless. The car was equipped with power seats, power doors, power windows, and a functioning air conditioner. It also had a recently replaced exhaust system and battery.

One of the most surprising features of the car was its low mileage. The odometer showed only 56,230 miles, indicating that the car had been sparingly used throughout its life. The woman’s daughter had told Estrada that the car had only been caught in the rain once in its 37-year history.

Estrada was particularly excited about the car’s engine. It was a 4.3 liter fuel injected V6 engine that produced 140 horsepower. This engine was a rarity in the 1987 Caprice, as most models were equipped with a V8. Estrada believed that the car may have been a special order at the time.

The 1987 Caprice was a stylish and reliable vehicle. It featured updated headlights, a standup hood ornament, and a simulated woodgrain dashboard. Despite its age, the car was still in excellent condition. Estrada was thrilled to have found such a unique and well-preserved example of this classic American automobile.

The classic 1987 Chevrolet Caprice coupe, a rare and sought-after model, recently found a new home. The car’s interior was in excellent condition, with a stunning dashboard and headliner.

While it lacked a stereo, the new owner was pleasantly surprised to find two spare wheels and a roll of toilet paper in the trunk. The car had been previously owned by a couple who had gifted the thermostat to the new owner.

Although the car didn’t have a passenger side mirror, a common omission in models of that era, the new owner was thrilled with the car’s performance. They were confident in its reliability and planned to convert it into a landau.

The Caprice coupe, discontinued in 1987 due to low sales, has become a collector’s item. While average prices hover around $13,600, mint condition examples can command well over $40,000.
