The Le Mans 24 Hours, a prestigious endurance race that has fascinated enthusiasts for over a century, is a dream factory for those with a passion for cars, racing, speed, and engineering. While the competition is highly exclusive, requiring exceptional skills and advanced technology, the allure of participating in this legendary event has inspired generations to push their boundaries.
RML Group, a renowned UK-based engineering firm, has recently revealed the P39 40th Special Edition (40SE), a Le Mans-inspired Porsche conversion that offers the exhilarating performance of a hypercar combined with the practicality of a daily driver.
Based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S, the 40SE boasts a series of modifications, including a wider track, extended wheelbase, and enhanced aerodynamics, making it a formidable force both on the racetrack and on the open road.
The P39 40SE’s wider track and extended wheelbase provide exceptional stability and cornering capabilities, allowing for precise and controlled handling. The modifications also enhance the vehicle’s aerodynamic performance, optimizing airflow and reducing drag, resulting in increased speed and efficiency.
In addition to these mechanical enhancements, the 40SE features a striking exterior design that reflects its Le Mans heritage. The aggressive bodywork, including a prominent front splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser, not only enhances the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal but also contributes to its aerodynamic efficiency.
Inside the P39 40SE, drivers will find a luxurious and technologically advanced interior. The cabin is adorned with high-quality materials and features a modern infotainment system with advanced connectivity options. The comfortable and supportive seats are designed to provide optimal comfort during long drives, while the vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems offer enhanced safety and convenience.
The P39 40SE represents a remarkable fusion of performance, luxury, and practicality. With its Le Mans-inspired design and advanced engineering, this exceptional vehicle offers an unparalleled driving experience that will appeal to both enthusiasts and discerning drivers alike.
RML’s P39 40SE is a hypercar that redefines the limits of performance and luxury. Based on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the P39 features a lowered chassis for increased downforce, a monstrous engine with nearly 900 horsepower, and a simulated lap time of six minutes and 45 seconds on the Nordschleife.
The P39 offers a dual personality, with a choice of Tour or Track modes. In Tour mode, the car is comfortable for daily driving with increased ride height and softened dampers. In Track mode, the P39 transforms into a track-focused beast, with a lowered chassis and aggressive suspension settings.
The P39’s exterior is as striking as its performance. Featuring active aero elements and a driver-activated drag reduction system, the car exudes a menacing presence.
The interior is equally impressive, with luxurious materials, custom embroidery, and safety enhancements such as four point safety harnesses and a half roll cage.
RML plans to produce only ten examples of the P39 40SE, each priced at 495,000 euros. This limited production further enhances the exclusivity and desirability of this extraordinary hypercar.
