Subaru has revealed details about its latest limited edition BRZ, the Series.Purple. This special edition sports car, available exclusively in Galaxy Purple Pearl, is set to make its debut at Subiefest Texas on October 19th.

Priced at $35,445 plus destination, the Series.Purple is a manual transmission only model. One notable aspect of the Series.Purple is its rarity. With only 500 units planned for the US market, it’s likely to be highly sought after by enthusiasts.

Given the relatively low sales of the BRZ in the first three quarters of 2024, it’s uncertain whether dealers will attempt to mark up this limited edition model.

Beyond its exclusive paint color, the Series.Purple boasts several other enhancements. These include gray stitching on the parking brake boot, shifter boot, steering wheel, and door panels, as well as black rear decklid badging and 18-inch satin silver alloy wheels.

The interior also features Ultrasuede performance front seats with height-adjustable head restraints. The Subaru BRZ Series.Purple, a limited edition model, offers a few enhancements over the standard BRZ Limited.

For an additional $4,350, buyers can enjoy a red starter button and a gray leather shifter knob adorned with the Subaru Tecnica International logo. The car also features a stiffer front end thanks to a flexible front V-bar, which improves steering response, stability, and handling.

Other notable additions include Michelin Pilot Sport 4 summer only tires, heated side mirrors, an upgraded audio system, Steering Responsive Headlights with LEDs, dual zone automatic climate control, Incline Start Assist, a Torsen limited slip differential, EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, a rear center console storage box with dual USB-A ports and an AUX input jack, and Track Mode for the Vehicle Stability Control System.

The Series.Purple is expected to arrive at dealerships in the first quarter of 2025. The most expensive BRZ option for 2025 remains the tS, which is also manual only. Excluding the delivery charge, it costs $36,245.
