The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3, a celebration of 25 years of modern GT3 icons, is a testament to the brand’s commitment to performance and refinement. While its exterior and interior remain understated, the car boasts significant upgrades under the skin.

At the heart of the GT3 lies its iconic 4.0 liter flat six engine, delivering a thrilling 502 horsepower and revving to an exhilarating 9,000 rpm. Porsche has resisted the temptation to electrify this powertrain, maintaining its purist appeal.

To enhance efficiency and emissions, the engine now features two gas-particulate filters and four catalytic converters. However, Porsche hasn’t compromised on performance, incorporating technology from the GT3 RS to ensure a thrilling driving experience.

The GT3 offers a choice of a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, catering to different driving preferences. The suspension has been refined with components borrowed from the GT3 RS, and the car rides on larger tires for improved handling.

The Weissach package is now available for the regular GT3, offering even more track-focused performance. For those seeking a more touring-oriented experience, the GT3 Touring remains an option, and it can be further enhanced with the Leichtbau (lightweight) package.

Inside, the GT3’s cabin blends classic 911 design elements with modern touches. While the ignition switch remains a familiar feature, new carbon-fiber bucket seats and optional rear seats in the GT3 Touring add a touch of luxury.

The Porsche 911 GT3 has always been a highly sought after sports car, and the latest iteration is no exception. Despite a significant price increase, the 992.2 2025 GT3 is expected to be in high demand.

To capitalize on this popularity, HRE Performance Wheels has created virtual renderings of the car with their Classic 300 and 522M wheels. While the base GT3 looks great with the Classic 300 wheels, the Touring model with the 522M wheels is especially striking. Which one do you prefer?
