Chelsea Truck Company and Kahn have joined forces to reveal a custom widebody INEOS Grenadier, the Series II Expedition. Inspired by the iconic Widebody Defender, this prototype offers a bold and luxurious reimagining of the Grenadier, blending rugged off-road capability with refined aesthetics.
With a price tag of £93,999 (approximately $122,000), this bespoke conversion marks the first fully in-house customization program for the Grenadier. The collaboration leverages Kahn’s OEM+ philosophy to enhance the vehicle’s comfort, usability, and design without compromising its off-road prowess.
While the modified aesthetics may not appeal to everyone, the Series II Expedition undoubtedly offers a unique and striking proposition for those seeking a distinctive take on the Grenadier. The Chelsea Truck Company has revealed a new, aggressive, and highly customized Grenadier Dakar.
This off-road beast boasts a host of carbon fiber enhancements, including the central lamp grille, front outer grille, front bumper valance, wheel arches, wide wings, hood mask, upper roof wing, rear bumper valance, and taillight ‘X’ masks.
The exterior is further accentuated by a 3D military textured matte black Chelsea Truck hard spare wheel cover, 100mm satin black crosshair exhaust system, electric side steps with LED lights, 30mm suspension lift, color coded roof rails, and 20-inch light alloy wheels wrapped in 37 inches all terrain tires.
Inside, the cabin is adorned with Vermillion Red Nappa leather for the front and rear seats, door panels, center armrest, and passenger grab handle. Under the hood, the Grenadier Dakar can be equipped with a 3.0-liter inline-six gasoline or diesel engine, both mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and a permanent four wheel drive system.
