Last year, at the SEMA show, a unique 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, a collaboration between MeatEater and RealTruck, was revealed. This custom truck, designed for outdoor enthusiasts, is now up for auction. It has been extensively used for hunting, fishing, and outdoor cooking. Originally a Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Z71, it has undergone significant modifications to enhance its off-road capabilities and outdoor functionality.
The truck retains its 5.3-liter V8 engine and automatic transmission, but boasts a striking green camouflage wrap, orange accents, and various RealTruck upgrades. These upgrades include a hard tonneau cover, rear bumper, and recovery kit, making it ready for any outdoor adventure.
The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, a custom masterpiece, is destined for the auction block at Mecum’s Kansas City event on December 6th. Donated by RealTruck, this truck is more than just a vehicle; it’s a symbol of gratitude and support for our nation’s heroes.
With a three inch lift, aftermarket running boards and bed steps, and added rocker panels and rear wheel guards, this Silverado exudes a rugged and imposing presence. A new front bumper further enhances its bold appearance.
All proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization committed to providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders. Since its founding in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded over $290 million in scholarships, empowering the next generation of leaders.
As a no reserve auction, the final selling price of this custom Silverado is unknown, but it’s anticipated to garner significant attention from bidders. This unique opportunity to own a one of a kind truck while supporting a worthy cause is sure to excite automotive enthusiasts and philanthropists alike.
