KTM has recently revealed the 1390 Super Adventure S, a bike that promises to redefine the adventure sports segment. This latest iteration, while sharing the same engine upgrades as its more advanced sibling, the S EVO, offers a more traditional riding experience. The 1,350cc engine now delivers 171 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque, thanks to reworked components and a new Camshift system.
This setup enhances low-rpm performance, peak power, and fuel efficiency. Unlike the S EVO’s automated transmission, the S sticks to a manual gearbox, providing riders with direct control over gear shifts. A stiffer frame and revised footpegs contribute to improved handling and stability, especially on the track.
The bike also benefits from KTM’s latest electronics package, including a TFT touchscreen for rider modes, connectivity, and Adaptive Cruise Control. The 2025 KTM 1390 Super Adventure S is set to hit the market early next year, boasting a host of upgrades. The bike’s safety profile has been raised with the inclusion of brake assistance, collision warning, and distance warning systems, powered by a new 5th generation front radar.
Additionally, the suspension system has been refined with WP semi active hardware, similar to the Evo variant. Visually, the S model receives a fresh look, featuring a redesigned bodywork, a new LED headlight, and an updated windshield.
While specific details about the increased storage space are yet to be revealed, it’s clear that KTM has aimed to enhance both form and function. Although primarily designed for street riding, the 1390 Super Adventure S remains capable of off-road adventures when the occasion calls.
