Barrett-Jackson is gearing up for an exciting start to 2025 with the annual Scottsdale Auction, set to take place January 18–26 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
This nine-day automotive lifestyle event has become a premier season opener for the collector car community, showcasing a lineup of the world’s most desirable collectible vehicles and authentic automobilia.
The event begins with Family Day on Saturday, January 18, offering free admission for children 12 and under when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Throughout the week, attendees of all ages can enjoy engaging activities and interactive exhibits.
“Even before the excitement settled from our successful Scottsdale Fall Auction, our guests were already looking forward to the auction in January,” stated Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson.
“We’re deep into preparing for our flagship event and are going full throttle, planning more interactive exhibits, live music, and, of course, a docket full of some of the most coveted collectible vehicles in the world.
Our Scottsdale Fall Auction was just a taste of what’s coming in January.”
Family Day will feature activities led by STEM-focused organizations, including Barrett-Jackson’s Gearing Towards the Future initiative in partnership with the SciTech Institute.
The Barrett-Jackson Cup Competition will also take center stage, with 50 vehicles judged by renowned custom builders Bobby Alloway and Troy Trepanier.
These vehicles will parade across the block on the first Saturday and remain on display throughout the week. Fans can participate in the “People’s Choice” vote via social media, with one top-five finalist revealed daily.
The competition will culminate in the announcement of the “People’s Choice” and “Ultimate Best in Show” awards on Saturday, January 25.
The auction itself kicks off on Monday, January 20, and runs through Sunday, January 26, featuring collector cars and authentic automobilia.
Notable vehicles include two custom Chevrolet Corvettes—a 1963 Split-Window Coupe and a 1967 convertible—both crafted by Jeff Hayes.
The docket also boasts a rare 2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake, numbered 26 of only 99 produced globally and one of just 11 in the U.S.
“We have already revved up a wave of excitement for our January Scottsdale event,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson.
“From one of the most diverse dockets filled with vehicles for every type of collector to thrill rides in the latest sports cars, trucks, and SUVs from the world’s top manufacturers, we will ring in 2025 the Barrett-Jackson way.
Everyone should plan to join us and discover why Barrett-Jackson has earned the reputation as being the ultimate automotive lifestyle event.”
Automotive enthusiasts can register to bid or consign their collector cars through Barrett-Jackson’s official channels.
Registered premium package bidders and consignors will receive invitations to the exclusive Opening Night Gala on Sunday, January 19.
