Its 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring trim has demonstrated a range exceeding 500 miles on a single charge. In a recent test by *Out of Spec Reviews*, the vehicle managed over 520 miles during a 70 mph highway range loop, making it the longest-range EV the channel has ever tested. This test utilized the 19-inch aero wheels, optimizing efficiency compared to the standard 21-inch wheels. Remarkably, even with dim parking lights used to conserve the battery, the sedan showcased exceptional endurance.
The *Out of Spec Reviews* team plans to feature the Lucid Air Grand Touring in ongoing long-term reviews, promising a deeper exploration of the sedan’s capabilities in future episodes. The Grand Touring trim, with a starting price of $112,400, represents Lucid’s highest-range offering. It is second in price only to the ultra-luxurious Sapphire trim, which starts at $250,500. Other trims, such as the Pure and Touring, are priced at $71,400 and $80,400, respectively. Each trim offers varying ranges, with the 2025 Grand Touring rated at 480 miles, the Sapphire at 427 miles, and the Pure and Touring at 365 and 382 miles, respectively.
Lucid’s portfolio is expanding beyond the Air sedan, as the company plans to begin production of the Gravity SUV. CEO Peter Rawlinson recently drove the first pre-production Gravity model off the assembly line in Arizona. This marks an important milestone for the EV maker as it diversifies its product lineup.
