Triumph Motorcycles has revealed innovative lightweight frame technology in its latest line of sport bikes, setting a new benchmark for performance and agility in the motorcycle industry. This cutting edge technology, prominently featured in models like the Tiger Sport 660, underscores Triumph’s commitment to engineering excellence and rider satisfaction.

At the core of this advancement is the tubular steel trellis frame, a design that significantly reduces the weight of the bike without compromising its structural integrity. This weight reduction enhances the bike’s maneuverability and handling, making it an ideal choice for riders who prioritize agility and responsiveness.

The frame’s construction also ensures better weight distribution, contributing to a more balanced and stable ride, especially crucial for both urban environments and open roads. The Tiger Sport 660, as a showcase model, is powered by a liquid cooled, 12-valve, DOHC, inline three-cylinder engine.

This engine delivers 80bhp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm, providing a thrilling performance that seamlessly blends low-end torque with exhilarating top end power. The bike’s multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection and electronic throttle control ensure smooth and efficient power delivery, enhancing the riding experience.

Complementing the advanced frame and engine technology, the Tiger Sport 660 features Showa upside down forks and a remote preload adjustable monoshock rear suspension unit, both offering 150mm of wheel travel. This sophisticated suspension system provides superior ride comfort and adaptability, allowing the bike to handle a variety of road conditions with ease.

The Nissin two piston sliding calipers and twin 310mm discs with ABS, along with a single piston sliding caliper and 255mm disc with ABS, ensure reliable and responsive braking performance. In addition to its mechanical prowess, the Tiger Sport 660 boasts a range of advanced rider focused technologies.

The ride by wire throttle with switchable traction control, multi functional instruments with a customizable TFT display, and the My Triumph Connectivity System allow riders to manage navigation, calls, and music effortlessly. The bike also features three riding modes Sport, Road, and Rain adapting to different conditions and enhancing the riding experience.

Triumph’s introduction of lightweight frame technology marks a significant advancement in motorcycle design and engineering. By prioritizing weight reduction and structural efficiency, Triumph has created sport bikes that offer exceptional performance, comfort, and versatility.
