Karma is placing a major bet on range-extending hybrid technology, with the Gyesera serving as the first major step in that strategy. The new grand tourer is scheduled to reach dealerships in December, carrying a starting price of $139,995. It will also introduce a fresh family of hybrid extended-range electric vehicles for the automaker.
The Gyesera will take the spotlight for Karma during the 75th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Monterey Car Week, appearing alongside the 2028 Amaris GT and the fully electric 2029 Kaveya Super Coupe.
All three models are scheduled to participate in various public events throughout the Monterey area. For Pebble Beach, the Gyesera will receive a unique one-off design created specifically for the Concept Lawn display.
Customers can already place orders through Karma’s online configurator, with the first examples expected to arrive at US dealerships in December.
Karma’s 566-HP Successor to the Revero
Karma describes the Gyesera Grand Coupe as the first vehicle from its new generation of models. The car is built around a high-strength aluminum space-frame structure, complemented by carbon-fiber-reinforced exterior panels. Power comes from the newest version of Karma’s Hybrid EREV (extended-range electric vehicle) system, internally designated HRL15665.
The powertrain delivers 566 horsepower and 546 pound-feet of torque. According to Karma, that output enables the Gyesera to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3.7 seconds. As a four-seat grand tourer, the vehicle aims to blend strong performance with the premium materials, comfort, and exclusivity associated with limited-production automobiles.
For its Pebble Beach debut, the Gyesera will feature a special “PB75” livery marking the event’s 75th edition. Its exterior is finished in Electrum Gold and complemented by Stellar Red PB75 stripes running across the hood and along the lower front doors. The car also features 22-inch Light Speed wheels finished in Champagne and Galaxy Black, along with red brake calipers.
The cabin combines Reserve Red and Black Bridge of Weir leather with Charcoal Alcantara and Platinum trim elements. Ahead of its appearance at the Pebble Beach Concept Lawn on Sunday, August 16, the Gyesera is scheduled to visit the Santa Lucia Preserve Concours in Carmel Valley on Thursday, August 13, followed by Exotics on Broadway in Seaside on Saturday, August 15.
Karma’s Upcoming Models Raise the Ambition
Although the Gyesera marks the beginning of Karma’s latest generation, the company has plans for several more ambitious vehicles. The Amaris GT will also appear during Monterey Car Week and is described by Karma as its first production two-door GT and the second entry in its new Hybrid EREV family.
Karma is expected to equip the Amaris GT with a more powerful iteration of the Gyesera’s range-extending powertrain. The company is targeting a launch during the fourth quarter of 2027, while final pricing is expected to be announced closer to its release.
The Kaveya Super Coupe represents an even more extreme direction for the brand. The 2029 model is currently expected to reach customers during the first quarter of 2028, with an anticipated starting price of approximately $400,000. Karma says the car will feature butterfly-style doors, output exceeding 1,000 horsepower, and a design influenced by stealth aircraft.
The Kaveya may also become the first production road car to feature Factorial Energy’s FEST solid-state battery technology. Earlier this year, Karma announced a partnership with Factorial to develop what it describes as the first US solid-state battery initiative focused on passenger vehicles.
The technology is intended to deliver improvements in efficiency and driving range compared with traditional lithium-ion battery systems.
