The 2025 Acura MDX has some big changes, especially inside the car. There’s a new infotainment system that could change things a lot for Acura, the company that makes the car.
Before, the Acura MDX had something called the True Touchpad interface. It was not liked very much. People didn’t think it was easy to use. But now, they’re getting rid of it and putting in a big touchscreen instead. This new screen is 12.3 inches wide. It can get updates over the internet, and it has Google built into it. This means you can use Google Maps and other apps from Google. It also still works with Apple CarPlay.
With the old touchpad gone, there’s more space in the middle of the car. There’s a new space where you can keep things. It’s not very big, but it’s there. They also moved the volume knob closer to the driver.
Another big change is the sound system. Instead of the old one, they’re putting in Bang & Olufsen speakers. They’re really good. The top version of the MDX will have 31 speakers, which is a lot. Even the lower versions will have 19 speakers. These speakers come with some cool features to control the sound.
There are some other changes too. The driver assistance system has been improved. It helps you drive safely. And they’ve made the car quieter by adding more insulation and special glass.
On the outside, the car looks a little different too. The front and back of the car have some changes, but they’re not huge.
These changes make the Acura MDX better. The new touchscreen is much easier to use than the old touchpad. And it’s likely that future Acuras will have similar updates, so we can look forward to that.
