Audi has a special anniversary coming up for one of its iconic cars: the RS4. They’re releasing a limited edition of this car in Europe. This special version has more power and a paint color inspired by the past.
The RS4 has a long history of being a powerful wagon. The first RS4 was based on the A4 Avant, and it had a special engine and body kit. Audi took inspiration from the RS4 Sport model from 2001 for this new limited edition.
The RS4 Avant Edition 25 Years has a 2.9-liter V6 engine with twin turbochargers. It now produces 464 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque, which is more than before. This means it can go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph. It also comes with a special exhaust system.
To handle all this power, the car comes with carbon-ceramic brakes and adjustable coilovers. The Quattro sport differential helps with handling, and the transmission shifts faster than before.
For wheels, the car comes with 20-inch forged wheels and high-performance tires. Buyers also get a second set of wheels with track tires for racing. The car is available in Imola Yellow, Nardo Gray, and Mythos Black. It has special design features like black trim and unique stitching inside.
Only 250 units of the RS4 Avant Edition 25 Years will be made, and it starts at €142,905. This is more expensive than the regular RS4 Avant, which starts at €87,500. Sales start in June 2024, and buyers can also order a special watch to go with their car.
