Eve Air Mobility continues to make significant strides in the aviation industry, with its latest partnership marking a pivotal milestone in its expansion into the Asia-Pacific region. As one of the few eVTOL manufacturers backed by an established aviation player, Eve, a subsidiary of Embraer, has garnered widespread acclaim for its battery-electric aircraft.

Among Eve’s recent achievements is the acquisition of AirX, a prominent helicopter charter service in Japan, and a trailblazer in the AAM sector. With a letter of intent for nearly 3,000 units of its electric aircraft, Eve’s collaboration with AirX represents a significant endorsement of its innovative approach to urban air mobility. The agreement includes the delivery of ten electric aircraft to AirX, with the option for an additional 40 units.

In addition to aircraft procurement, AirX will leverage Eve’s comprehensive ecosystem, including its operations solution and Vector urban air traffic management software. Eve’s holistic approach to AAM, emphasizing ecosystem development alongside aircraft manufacturing, played a pivotal role in AirX’s decision to partner with the Brazilian startup.

This collaboration is emblematic of Eve’s broader strategy to establish a presence in key markets, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Building on partnerships with companies like SkyScape, a vertiport developer in Osaka, Eve is poised to revolutionize urban air mobility across a diverse world.

Eve’s global expansion efforts extend beyond Japan, with orders secured from various countries, including the United States. With a dedicated manufacturing facility in Taubate, Sao Paolo, Eve is gearing up to commence flight testing of its full-scale demonstrator.

Scheduled for service entry in 2026, Eve’s electric aircraft heralds a new era of urban air mobility driven by innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to shaping the future of transportation.
