SLR Honda riders Tyler Lynn and Mikayla Nielsen demonstrated their prowess in the WORCS series, delivering a triumphant weekend of racing.
Tyler Lynn secured a solid start, positioning himself in 3rd as the top 3 engaged in an intense battle for the first five laps. Despite a competitor dropping back, Tyler found himself in a challenging duel with the Purvines Yamaha rider.
The race unfolded with thrilling moments, from the initial high-speed exchanges among the top 3 to a strategic pitstop showdown. Both teams pitted simultaneously, with a mere 75 feet separating their pits.
Tyler emerged from the pitstop 1.5 seconds ahead of the competition, engaging in a heated on-track pursuit. Navigating the hills of Glen Helen, Tyler eventually reclaimed the lead, extending his advantage to secure a well-deserved victory.
In the PRO 450 category, the top three finishers were:
1. TYLER LYNN – HONDA
2. Trevor Stewart – YAM
3. DARE DeMartile – BETA
Colton Aeck claimed the Pro 250 victory on his TRE Kawasaki, followed by RPM KTM rider Mason Semens and Husqvarna-mounted Kai Aiello. In the PRO Women’s class, Mikayla Nielsen showcased her dominance with a smooth and confident performance, leading laps and clinching the win.
Unfortunately, teammate Kaitlyn faced a setback with a crash, resulting in a hospital visit and a diagnosis of concussion. Despite this, she secured a third-place result in the WORCS series.
