In a flurry of activity, KTM has been making waves with their latest motorcycle updates. First came the 2025 SX and SX-F models earlier this month, and now it’s the turn of the XC and XC-F families to shine. These motorcycles, part of KTM’s Cross Country lineup, have received significant upgrades, drawing from the brand’s racing expertise. KTM proudly touts them as “the most ready-to-race cross-country motorcycle lineup to date.”

The improvements start with a redesigned frame featuring visible cutouts and varying tube-wall thicknesses in critical areas like the headstock, engine mount, and rear shock regions. These enhancements aim to enhance chassis flex while also trimming weight, albeit only by a modest 300 grams. KTM assures that these design changes maintain whole stability and cornering performance.

Under the hood, the XC and XC-F now boast WP XACT closed cartridge spring forks at the front and upgraded linkage shocks at the rear, directly inspired by the KTM Factory Racing Team. The rear swingarm has been redesigned to include a machined chain slider for improved mud dissipation, while the rear brake pedal has been reinforced for added durability.

Visually, the XC and XC-F receive functional updates, such as new tank shrouds crafted from bi-composite plastics for better cooling and a refreshed fuel tank mount doubling as frame protection. The bikes also feature a one-piece inlet sleeve to prevent deformation. As for aesthetics, the classic KTM orange with black in-mold graphics remains unchanged.

Similar to the SX lineup, the XC models now come equipped with the Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) system, allowing seamless integration with the KTMconnect app.

The 2025 KTM XC and XC-F models, spanning two-stroke (125, 250, 300) and four-stroke (250, 350, 450) variants, are set to hit dealerships in May, with pricing details yet to be disclosed.
