While some purists may argue against altering a Ducati 996, the custom job showcased above by Alan Boyter in the United Arab Emirates proves that a well-executed modification can be a thing of beauty. With his expertise as both a seasoned racer and a skilled motorcycle customizer, Alan transformed the sleek Ducati into a true work of art, enhancing both its aesthetics and performance.

Beginning with the bike’s powerful 112-horsepower engine and its agile frame, Alan meticulously upgraded every aspect of the Ducati. The transformation included a striking cosmetic makeover featuring a new aluminum body crafted by a British manufacturer, giving the bike a fresh and contemporary look reminiscent of retro racing aesthetics.

In addition to the visual enhancements, Alan focused on elevating the bike’s performance. He installed high-performance components such as floating Braketech discs, Brembo calipers, and Ohlins forks, enhancing both its handling and braking capabilities. The stock wheels were replaced with laced Kineo hoops, wrapped in sticky Pirelli rubber for optimal grip on the road.

Under the hood, Alan spared no expense in upgrading the Ducati’s engine, fitting it with premium components like a K&N crankcase vent filter, a FRAM Corse radiator, and a high-grade aftermarket oil cooler. The exhaust system was meticulously crafted from stainless steel, further improving the bike’s power delivery and sound.

Not content with just enhancing the bike’s performance, Alan also revamped its electronics and instrumentation. A custom dash with GPS-enabled instrumentation was installed, along with modern LED lighting and a keyless RFID ignition module for added convenience and security.

To preserve the stunning aesthetics of the Ducati, Alan applied a clear coat to the polished aluminum bodywork, ensuring its shine for years to come. The final result is a masterpiece that seamlessly blends style and performance, a testament to Alan’s craftsmanship and passion for motorcycles.
