The custom Ducati Monster crafted by Treasure Garage truly steals the spotlight, overshadowing even the official collaborations with Lamborghini. This unique bike, made in Bali, combines innovative features and a sleek design, making it a true masterpiece.
A Unique Custom Creation
Treasure Garage in Bali, Indonesia, has created a custom Ducati Monster 796 inspired by the Lamborghini V12 Vision Gran Turismo concept. This custom café racer includes unique in-house-built features and a striking design. Unlike the official Ducati-Lamborghini collaborations, which were primarily aesthetic, this custom bike offers deeper modifications.
The Ducati Monster is a popular choice for modifications due to its simple, naked sports bike construction. Treasure Garage used a ten-year-old Ducati Monster 796 for this project, retaining its original 803cc V-Twin engine. Known for its smooth torque curve, the engine performs well in both urban traffic and on winding mountain roads. The suspension and Brembo braking system remain unchanged, while the exhaust now features an HP Corse muffler.
Detailed Engine Specs
The Ducati Monster 796 engine is a 90-degree V-Twin (L-Twin) with SOHC and desmodromic two valves per cylinder, an 803cc displacement, 87 hp, 58 lb-ft of torque, a 6-speed gearbox, and a top speed of 124.5 mph.
Treasure Garage stripped down the Monster and replaced the stock subframe with a custom unit made from a solid block of billet aluminum. The main frame, a tubular steel trellis, was painted black and kept intact. The new subframe, designed to look futuristic, supports a solo seat and a custom LED taillight setup.
The headlamp is also custom-made with an “H” shaped LED DRL and two projectors, resembling Bumblebee from Transformers. The tank section features intricate details, integrated winglets, and a belly pan that flows into the rear tire hugger. Clever additions help keep the air-oil-cooled engine running optimally.
The instrument cluster is integrated into the tank design, similar to the Ducati Diavel’s layout. Even the rear brake fluid reservoir is designed artistically. The attention to detail in this project is evident, taking nine months to complete.
Custom futuristic subframe made from a single billet aluminum piece.
- Sophisticated front cowling with integrated winglets.
- Custom headlamp and taillamp with acrylic LED running lights.
- Chiseled tire hugger blending with the belly pan.
- Tank-mounted instrument cluster housing.
- Custom front fender with winglets.
The bike’s paint job is inspired by Lamborghini’s Gran Turismo V12 Vision and the Sian Hybrid. The satin green base color and matte gold wheels give it a distinctive look. The main frame is painted black to highlight the custom front section. Various stickers, including a Gran Turismo logo and Ducati Corsa logos, add to its appeal.
The official Ducati-Lamborghini collaborations, like the 2021 Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini and the 2022 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, focused on aesthetic modifications with no performance upgrades. In contrast, the Treasure Garage custom Ducati Monster not only features a unique paint job but also integrates critical custom components, making it more desirable than the official models.
This custom Ducati Monster by Treasure Garage stands out as a unique and innovative creation, inspired by Lamborghini’s V12 Vision Gran Turismo and crafted with exceptional detail and skill.
