Calling all adventure seekers! The legendary GS Trophy, a grueling competition testing the limits of both rider and machine, returns in 2024.

Debuting in Africa over a decade ago, the GS Trophy has since become a global platform for enduro enthusiasts and BMW GS fans.

This year, the event makes a symbolic homecoming to Namibia, where 22 international teams will battle it out on unforgiving yet breathtaking terrain.

Though the routes remain shrouded in secrecy until the September 15th start date, one thing is certain: riders will be piloting the specially-equipped BMW R 1300 GS Trophy Competition Bike.

Built on the R 1300 GS platform, this motorcycle is meticulously outfitted to tackle the Namibian wilderness, ensuring an unforgettable adventure for all.

This off-road marvel boasts a powerful 1,300cc engine, yet it trims 31 pounds from its predecessor for enhanced agility.

To tackle unforgiving terrain, the Trophy is shielded by a headlight guard, engine bars, a frame guard, and a radiator guard.

Designed with rider comfort in mind, it features handlebar risers, adjustable levers, and specialized GS Vario footrests. A single seat, optimized for demanding maneuvers, hints at the rigorous competition ahead.

For superior grip on loose surfaces, knobby off-road tires hug black cross-spoke wheels. The distinctive Racing Blue Metallic paint scheme with contrasting red and white stripes, along with a matte white rear frame and decals, completes the Trophy’s transformation into an off-road champion.
