Ditch the showroom floor and head straight to an art gallery that’s the kind of vibe Diamond Atelier motorcycles exude.

This custom build is no exception. It’s a modern reimagining of one of their earliest creations, dialed up to eleven in both design and performance.

The starting point this time around is a legendary BMW R 100 R, a clear upgrade from the R 80 RT they used previously. But the magic goes beyond the stunning look.

Diamond Atelier has unleashed the inner beast in this machine. The engine now boasts a heart-pounding 90 horsepower and 81 pound-feet of torque, making for an exhilarating ride.

This BMW motorcycle has undergone a significant transformation courtesy of Diamond Atelier. The front end boasts bespoke triple clamps machined from billet aluminum, which grip a pair of adjustable 43mm upside-down forks.

High-performance suspension in the rear comes from a Wilbers shock absorber. Lightweight 17-inch laced wheels are wrapped in Metzeler Racetec K3 tires, and stopping power gets a boost with drilled front discs and six-piston calipers, although the stock drum brake remains at the back.
