Gear up for a new season of supermoto dominance with Husqvarna’s updated FS 450, revealed for the 2025 model year.
Husqvarna has a well-earned reputation for building championship-caliber supermoto machines, and the FS 450 is no exception.
This season, the FS 450 receives a strategic refresh designed to raise handling and performance even further, making it the ideal weapon for serious riders aiming to conquer the track.
While the core components the chromium molybdenum steel frame and lightweight aluminum-polyamide subframe remain proven performers, Husqvarna’s engineers haven’t stopped there. New WP XACT closed cartridge forks grace the front end, promising enhanced precision and control during aggressive cornering and hard braking.
The focus on rider comfort and control is further emphasized by a revised ergonomics package, including a slightly higher and wider seat for a more secure riding position. Confidence-inspiring tweaks continue with smaller footrests that reduce the risk of scraping asphalt during those heart-stopping leans.
Underneath the striking new Swedish-inspired graphics lies the familiar, yet potent, 450cc SOHC four-stroke engine. Renowned for its smooth and powerful delivery, this engine continues to be a strong foundation for the FS 450.
Modern riders will appreciate the return of the user-friendly suite of electronic rider aids, including launch control and traction control.
Selectable engine maps allow for on-the-fly adjustments to optimize power delivery for different track conditions or riding styles. With these refinements, the 2025 Husqvarna FS 450 is poised to extend its dominance in the supermoto category.
Its 450cc SOHC 4-stroke engine continues to deliver smooth, controllable power, hauled to a stop by the ever-reliable Brembo brakes. Alpina wheels wrapped in Metzeler rubber provide a surefooted grip for aggressive cornering.
But for those seeking an extra edge, Husqvarna has implemented some strategic refinements. The most noticeable upgrade is the inclusion of WP XACT closed cartridge forks at the front, promising sharper handling and improved rider feel.
The suspension overhaul doesn’t stop there a WP XACT shock with a CFD-optimized main piston graces the rear, while a redesigned die-cast aluminum swingarm further enhances control and stability. These well-considered changes ensure the 2025 FS 450 remains a dominant force on the supermoto circuit.
