French custom motorcycle builder Jeremie Duchampt, lauded for his ability to craft singular machines that push the boundaries of design, has revealed his latest creation: a KZ400 bobber brimming with innovation.

This meticulously crafted motorcycle exemplifies Duchampt’s talent for transforming classic motorcycles into something entirely new. Jeremie Motorcycles’ workshop began by meticulously stripping down a 1981 KZ400 LTD to its bare essentials. The stock frame was ditched in favor of a one-of-a-kind subframe, completely revamping the bike’s rear silhouette.

A Z1000 swingarm, expertly modified to seamlessly integrate with the new frame, now graces the lower section. Fully adjustable aftermarket shock absorbers were then installed to bolster the suspension’s performance, hinting at the comprehensive upgrades likely implemented at the front end as well.

While the specifics of the front-end transformation remain a mystery, one thing is certain: this KZ400 has undergone a dramatic metamorphosis, emerging not only stunning but also demonstrably superior in its function.

This once-stock Kawasaki has undergone a metamorphosis, emerging with a stunning new appearance and a performance boost to back it up. The front end steals the show with inverted forks borrowed from a Triumph Speed Triple, replacing the stock units.

A custom-designed top clamp integrates the motorcycle’s instrumentation seamlessly, creating a clean and unified aesthetic. The stock wheels have been ditched in favor of a more premium option lightweight rims with CNC-machined hubs, laced together with stainless-steel spokes. Dunlop Sportmax GPR-300 tires provide ample grip to handle the increased power and sharper handling.

The braking system has also been comprehensively upgraded to match the enhanced performance. Wave-style discs and radial calipers now grace both ends, delivering confident stopping power. While the modifications to the engine might seem less dramatic at first glance, they shouldn’t be underestimated.

The parallel-twin powerhouse has been given a new lease on life through a comprehensive refresh. Rebuilt carburetors equipped with premium pod filters improve airflow, while a brand new exhaust system featuring Mivv silencers ensures efficient expulsion of spent gases. These changes promise a more invigorating riding experience without sacrificing reliability.
