Filippo Barbacane, the maestro of motorcycle metamorphosis, has carved a legendary status for himself, particularly in Moto Guzzi transformations. His workshop, Officine Rossopuro, is a hallowed ground for custom bike enthusiasts.
Renowned for his ability to breathe new life into every project, Barbacane’s latest masterpiece, “Fortuna,” is a testament to his unyielding creativity. This stunning custom was once an unremarkable Moto Guzzi SP1000, but under Barbacane’s skilled hands, it underwent a radical transformation from a bulky tourer to a sleek, minimalist marvel.
The rear section boasts a custom-made mudguard, featuring a circular LED taillight and compact license plate holder. Stylish side covers fill the subframe triangle, flanking a generously padded, black leather seat accented with a red seam that echoes the bike’s color scheme.
The grey base with red highlights is prominently displayed on the fuel tank and side panels. Complementing the build, Filippo incorporated a Bates-style headlight, billet aluminum foot pegs, and an aftermarket handlebar.
The cockpit houses a multifunctional Daytona instrument cluster mounted on a CNC-machined bracket. Under the skin, the V-twin engine underwent a complete overhaul, including an Elektronik Sachse ignition module.
A K&N air filter and a full stainless-steel MASS exhaust system optimize breathing, while a new wiring harness and upgraded regulator/rectifier ensure both reliability and aesthetic appeal.
