Incerum Customs, a Croatian atelier helmed by the visionary Antonio Frehatovic, is an alchemist’s workshop where motorcycles are transformed into breathtaking, bespoke sculptures. This underappreciated gem consistently produces world-class custom builds, each a testament to the team’s extraordinary talent and unwavering dedication to perfection.

The custom airhead featured here is a prime example of their artistry. Once a mundane 1984 BMW R 80 RT, it underwent a meticulous metamorphosis at the hands of the Incerum craftsmen. The bike was stripped to its essence, providing a blank canvas for the team to sculpt a new form.

The original rear subframe was discarded, and replaced by a custom bobber-style foundation that seamlessly integrates with the modified main frame. To achieve an immaculate finish, the wiring harness was ingeniously routed through the frame tubes, disappearing. This minimalist aesthetic is further accentuated by the expertly crafted, dual-textured saddle, where black leather and brown suede intertwine in perfect harmony.

The metamorphosis of this R80 is a testament to bold customization. Exchanging the original conventional forks for inverted, high-end units sourced from a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R dramatically alters the bike’s stance and character. The same donor provided its Tokico calipers, though the builders opted to retain the BMW’s original brake discs.

The stock wheels, refurbished and fitted with dual-purpose Heidenau K 60 tires, provide a versatile foundation. A modern LED headlight illuminates the path ahead, while the cockpit has been refined with a Ducati Monster handlebar, compact controls, and bar-end indicators. A Motogadget Motoscope Tiny instrument cluster fits seamlessly into the minimalist design. The rider’s triangle is completed with aftermarket rearsets, offering both style and function.

The transformation extends beyond the chassis. Custom-fabricated fenders, secured by bespoke struts, and a tailored license plate holder dramatically enhance the bike’s visual appeal. The fuel tank remains original, serving as a nod to the bike’s heritage.

To liberate the engine’s potential, Incerum undertook a comprehensive rebuild and equipped it with performance-enhancing breathing components. This fusion of classic lines and modern mechanicals creates a truly unique motorcycle that commands attention.
