Jeremie Duchampt, a renowned French bike-modder, has gained significant popularity for his exceptional custom projects. His shop, Jerem Motorcycles, has seen a meteoric rise due to the consistent high quality of his work. One such project is a meticulously crafted Yamaha Virago XV750.

This particular build showcases Duchampt’s expertise in transforming a seemingly ordinary motorcycle into a unique and stunning piece of art. Starting with a neglected 1983 Yamaha Virago, he meticulously disassembled the bike, sandblasted the main frame to remove rust, and replaced the stock subframe with a custom-built looped design.

The attention to detail is evident in the handmade saddle, a full suite of LED lighting components, and the Sachs piggyback monoshock. The rear wheel features solid disc covers and a swingarm-mounted license plate bracket, while the front end boasts billet aluminum triple clamps from USV Racing, Ducati upside-down forks, Brembo radial calipers, and wave-style discs.

The driveshaft has been rebuilt, and the powertrain modifications, which will be discussed later, further enhance the bike’s performance. The custom Yamaha Virago cafe racer is a testament to Jeremie’s passion for motorcycles. With its sleek design and powerful performance, this bike is sure to turn heads.

The braking system features a repurposed Ducati Diavel front wheel and stainless steel hoses, while the Metzeler Lasertec tires with white Jerem Motorcycles lettering add a touch of style. The custom fender and LED headlight complete the front end, while the digital Koso dash and keyless RFID ignition system provide modern convenience.

Clip-on handlebars with Brembo control levers and bar-end mirrors, along with CNC-machined rearsets, enhance the riding experience. The engine has also been significantly upgraded. Jeremie replaced the original V-twin powerplant with a low-mileage unit and added Dellorto PHF 32 carbs with aftermarket pod filters. A custom stainless steel exhaust system completes the engine package.

The result is a bike that is both visually stunning and incredibly fun to ride. The Virago’s classic lines have been transformed into a modern cafe racer, but the bike still retains its original character. Jeremie’s attention to detail is evident throughout the build.

From the smallest components to the largest modifications, everything has been carefully considered and executed to the highest standard. The Virago is a true masterpiece of custom motorcycle craftsmanship.
