Dan Scott, a man with a deep-rooted passion for motorcycles and the technical expertise to customize them, created Audrey. This custom build was specifically designed to participate in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, an event that celebrates motorcycles and gentlemanly attire.
The base for this project was a reliable BMW K 100, a model known for its durability and customization potential. Dan gave the bike a complete overhaul, starting with the engine.
The engine, which was already in good condition, received a thorough refurbishment to ensure optimal performance. The lubrication and cooling systems were also upgraded to enhance efficiency and reliability.
To give Audrey a unique and stylish appearance, Dan modified the intake and exhaust systems. The original intake manifold was replaced with a custom-made piece topped with an aftermarket pod filter, allowing for improved airflow and increased power. The exhaust system was also replaced with a handmade stainless-steel unit ending in a Competition Werkes muffler.
This new exhaust system was crafted by Pipework Technologies, renowned for its expertise in custom exhaust fabrication. Additionally, the original subframe was replaced with a custom-made piece from Ellaspede, seamlessly integrated into the design.
