The of custom bike builders is a diverse one, with each craftsman carving out their unique niche. While some churn out completed projects at a rapid pace, others take a more deliberate approach, delivering fewer but always exceptional machines.
Nicolas Baux of Motocyclette Certifiée Non Conforme (MCNC) falls into the latter category, a master craftsman whose creations leave us in awe of his meticulous attention to detail. One such masterpiece is the Moto Guzzi 850 T3, a stunning cafe racer dubbed La Macchina. Baux spared no expense in this build, transforming the classic Guzzi into a work of art.
The rear suspension is a particular highlight, featuring a complex pushrod mechanism reminiscent of Formula 1 cars. Crafted with precision from carbon fiber, aluminum tubes, and a Fournales oleo-pneumatic shock absorber, this intricate system is held together by a billet aluminum bracket adorned with the bike’s name and the Moto Guzzi emblem.
The front suspension, though less elaborate, is equally impressive. CNC-machined triple clamps connect the forks to the chassis, while a premium LED headlight illuminates the path ahead. The cockpit features a minimalist setup with a single aftermarket dial, LSL clip-ons, Domino grips, and Brembo master cylinders.
Baux even went the extra mile by fabricating the billet switchgear himself, showcasing his exceptional craftsmanship. The custom Guzzi La Macchina is a sight to behold, with its sleek aluminum bodywork and aggressive stance. MCNC’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the build. The bespoke frame and bodywork create a striking silhouette, while the powerful V-twin engine and upgraded brakes ensure that this machine is as capable as it is beautiful.
From the polished wheels and grippy tires to the custom exhaust and intake system, every component has been carefully selected and crafted to deliver an exceptional riding experience. The La Macchina’s custom fuel tank adds a muscular appearance to the center of the bike, while the tail unit further back complements the design.
A circular LED taillight adorns the rearmost tip of the bodywork, and a plain Alcantara saddle provides a comfortable seating position. A small front fender, which doubles as a fork brace, completes the updated outfit. MCNC also gave the V-twin engine a thorough overhaul, refurbishing it where necessary and fitting a new stainless-steel exhaust and tailor-made velocity stacks.
The intake hardware comes with internal air filters, which give the bike a unique and aggressive look. The bike’s livery is equally impressive, featuring a stunning combination of red, black, and brushed alloy.
